DetailsWith that said, Pulling the motor & trans isn't all that bad. The hood has a service mode so it doesn't have to be removed and the radiator can stay in as long as you are careful not to damage it. An engine hoist is $100-$200 at Harbor Freight. If you decide to remove only the trans, the top 3-4 bolts are a royal PITA!
DetailsWell same idea anyway, just different in that a flush machine transfers pressure from the trans oil pump to push the new ATF in. The OP makes a big assumption that the new ATF would be sucked in. There is less ATF in the pan with the engine running, but it should be still up to the level of the fill plug, unless it is low on ATF.
